Gender Equality Plan at IG PAS

The Gender Equality Plan for the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences was introduced by Order No. 2/2022 of the Director of 26th January 2022. The document was created as a result of the work of the Commission for developing the Gender Equality Plan for the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, established by Decision No. 7/2021 of the Director of 16th July 2021.

Due to the fact that the above-mentioned Plan provided for carrying out the activities by 2024, at the beginning of 2025 the  HRS4R and GEP Implementation and Monitoring Committee developed the Gender Equality Plan for the IG PAS for 2025-2030. It was introduced by Order No. 10/2025 of the Director of 26th March 2025.
The Gender Equality Plan at IG PAS focuses on the most important areas defined by the European Commission. Its primary goal is to promote, implement and monitor activities aimed at ensuring gender equality and diversity and counteracting all forms of discrimination in the workplace and study, while enabling free scientific, professional and personal development.
