Geo-INQUIRE 2nd Project Annual Meeting at IG PAS
From 12–15 November, our Institute hosted the annual meeting of the Geo-INQUIRE project, in which IG PAS is one of the partners. The event was held in a hybrid format, with 55 participants attending in person.
On the first day, a project management board meeting was held, during which current issues and future actions within all working groups were discussed. Our Institute is responsible for WP9 'Fostering cross-disciplinary research of the Earth through training and workshops', leaded by Prof Mariusz Majdański, a head of Department of Geophysical Imaging IG PAS.
In the following days of the meeting, 13–15 November, participants from the project's partner institutions took part. The session was opened with a welcome address by the Prof Rafał Junosza-Szaniawski, a Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of IG PAS, who briefly presented the activities of the Institute.
On Thursday, 14 November, a formal dinner took place, providing an excellent opportunity for informal discussions.
The next annual meeting of the Geo-INQUIRE project is planned for the fall of 2025.
