Scientists from IG PAS visited the Geological Survey of Canada
From 23–25 September Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Rafał Junosza-Szaniawski and Prof. Monika A. Kusiak visited Ottawa. They were invited by Dr Sally Pethersoon from the Geological Survey of Canada to discuss the geology of Labrador Peninsula.
The joint research will include inter alia field works during the 2025 summer season organized by the Canadian side using facilities belonging to the Geological Survey of Canada, including helicopters and boats.
Research results will be compiled by an international group of scientists from Canada, Poland, Australia, Sweden, Norway and South Korea.
