The competition is organised every year by the Visegrad Group Academies Forum and is addressed to the young researchers. The field of this year's competition is climate change in the context of global and polar research.

Dr. Marciniak, together with the prize-winners from the Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, will participate in the upcoming V4 Academy of Sciences Forum, which will be held on 18-19 October at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw. The session in which the prize-winners will present their scientific achievements is scheduled from 11:20 to 12.20 on the second day of the conference.
